My early life was not pretty…childhood molestation, promiscuity and domestic violence. Eventually I found faith, which kept me going, and I thought I had control of my life until the death of my 13 year old grandson. While I looked good and raised my hands in praise, my life was spiraling out of control. That’s when I realized my life philosophy was ‘life happens to you and not you happening to life.’ And that’s when my real struggle began—when I tried to change my thought process and take back control of my life and my dreams. I decided I wasn’t going to live in Victimhood anymore and you don’t have to live there either.
