Wardrobe

• Keep it simple.
• Make sure your clothing fits your body.
• Make sure your clothing is pressed.
• Make sure your undergarments are appropriate for your outfit.
• Dress for a full-length photo.
• Don’t be afraid to wear color!

Hair

• Keep it simple.
• Style your hair naturally
• Bring a comb or brush
• Make sure your hair is out of your face
• Do you not change your hairstyle right before your headshot!

Makeup

• Keep it simple.
• Keep your makeup simple and natural.
• Do not over use highlights and contouring.
• No Sparkles.
• Clean, exfoliate, and moisturize the night before.
• If you need help ask a friend or get instruction at the makeup counter.

Wardrobe

• Keep is simple.
• Don’t wear your big bulky watches.
• You don’t need extra necklaces for your photos.

Posing

• Posing you for your headshot is my job. You do not need to know how to pose already.
• I will choose poses that are appropriate for headshots.
• If you feel weird with my direction…you’re doing it right!
